An Ignition Interlock Device is a breathalyzer installed in your vehicle that requires the driver to provide a breath sample before starting the engine. If alcohol is detected above the preset limit, the vehicle won't start. Commonly required for DUI/DWI sentencing or license reinstatement.
We provide ignition interlock installation, alcohol monitoring, court-approved traffic survival school, SR-22 insurance assistance, and mobile services for on-site installations and maintenance. Everything you need in one place so you're not chasing down multiple providers.
Installation is typically completed in 1–3 hours. Same-day appointments are available — call in the morning and drive home compliant that afternoon. Walk-ins are welcome at both our Chandler and Phoenix locations.
Most programs run $2.50–$3.50 per day including calibration and reporting. There are no surprise charges — we provide a full cost breakdown before any work begins. Financing options are available.
Regular maintenance is required every 30–85 days depending on your monitoring program. Mobile servicing is available if you can't come to a location. We'll remind you when your service appointment is due.
The engine won't start and a record of the attempt is stored for review by the monitoring agency or court. Rolling retests while driving are also required to ensure continued compliance.
Most devices are vehicle-specific. However, solutions may exist for temporary use in additional vehicles depending on local regulations. Contact us and we can advise based on your specific court or MVD requirements.
Common myths: devices are easy to tamper with (false — they have tamper detection), they damage cars (false — our technicians install without affecting your vehicle's electronics), they're only required post-conviction (false — voluntary installation is also an option), and they're unreliable (false — devices are regularly calibrated and tested).
Yes. Many drivers choose voluntary installation for safety purposes without a court order. It can also demonstrate responsibility and may be viewed favorably in legal proceedings.
